EHR/EMR – Centric Services

EMR filing, indexing, data entry, and charting are a new host of services that we are currently providing our clients who have recently switched to a new EMR. Seyyone’s expert EMR management team handles all these processes with adept quality and turnaround time that it creates a stress-free environment for the clinic staff who can provide excellent service to the patients without the thought of pending processes hovering their minds.

Seyyone’s EMR management team can deliver excellent EMR data entry services, entering relevant data like lab values, allergies, medications, etc., into patients’ EMR when they come in for their appointments.

EMR charting or EMR documentation is the process of typing visit notes directly into the EMR. This is the latest evolution of the transcription process. Charting in EMR requires not just good transcription skills, but also good EMR documentation skills using various tools for charting. Seyyone’s transcription team is well trained in most of the prevalent EMRs.

Seyyone’s EMR management team can remotely print medication lists for all patients coming in for appointments. Seyyone’s team can fax the chart notes to referring physicians using EMR. Both these work require at least 8 hours per day for a clinic which sees 100 patients per day. Thus we reduce the need for a nursing staff or front office staff to engage in such activities rather than looking after the needs of patients and physicians.

The modern EHR/EMRs were expected to aid the practices/hospitals to improve the operational efficiency and help physicians to be able to increase their revenue.

But the complexities of most of the EMRs warrants more time from the physicians/back office staff to keep it updated. Physicians have to spend more time on this than focusing on their core competence and help more patients. The back office also warrants more staff to handle the same work done earlier with fewer staff.

Seyyone with its experience in majority of EMRs can help clients with Chart abstraction/Posting scanned or faxed records into correct patients’ charts such as

  • Insurance pre-authorization
  • Surgical orders
  • Op reports
  • Authorization to release medical records
  • Consultation reports
  • Radiology reports
  • Consent forms
  • Past medical history
  • Disability forms
  • HIPAA forms
  • Allergies
  • Medications list & refills
  • Referring/consulting provider records

Seyyone has been working with a host of EMRs over the years as listed below, but not limited to:

  • NextGen
  • EMA
  • CareTracker
  • Athenahealth
  • CureMD
  • eClinical Works
  • Epic
  • Practice Fusion

All these could be done prior to patients’ next visit:

  • Ensure all reports and documents necessary are available to review the case histories of patients.
  • Have the records of old patients updated on the EMR before the Patients consult the physician after years of gap.
  • Ensure that the notes are ready for forwarding to PCP or any other referring physician
  • Ensure all the requested lab and imaging are in the chart prior to visit
